*At the hospital*

The blacks family were waiting outside of a door waiting for news about there child,ego pacing back and forth while cece was holding onto emerald patting her head lily laying her head on cece’s lap. Cece looked up at her husband and was getting worried”ego please sit down”ego stopped and balled his fist up”it’s my fault”cece ears twitched not hearing him”what?”he growled rage starting to full him up again”i knew something was going to happen but i ignored the feeling i  i didn’t listen to it i!”he growled and punched the wall making a crack his eyes starting to turn black again,cece put emerald down next to her sister lily then stood up and hugged ego whos hand was still gripped in a fist”it’s not your fault”ego didn’t say anything cece tightened her hug around him”ego...calm down”ego hesitated for a minute then took a deep breath calming down for a bit”sorry”cece nodded then the doctor came out of the other room

“Mr and mrs:black?”

Both of them looked at the doctor and walked over to him”doctor whats going on?is she ok?”the doc took out a paper and started reading

“She’s going to be fine but rosa is unconscious right now….she does have a broken arm and a couple of bruises on her body a fractured rib on her left side and a huge scar on her right cheek”

Ego’s pov

I listened to the doctor talk as i held my wife”are we able to see her”the doc nodded his head

Doc:you may but she won’t be responsive she’s down the hall to your left”

I thanked him and told emerald and lily to come with us”he said down the hall and to the left right”cece nodded and we walked down in that direction then walked into the room i stood by the door staring at my daughter that is unconscious with all those bandages all over her “…” cece grabbed my hand nodding and we went over,i stood next to her and could only hear her breath

Emerald:”its my fault”

I look over to emerald and she gripped her hand in a fist tears welling up in her eyes again

Emerald:”i shouldn’t have left her *sniff* i should have stayed an-”before she could finish i picked her up and hugged her

Ego”don’t say that you did right to come and get us don’t blame yourself”i held her as she cried in my shoulder as cece patted lily’s head crying

Narrator

3 mins has passed and the little hoglet began to stir in her sleep

Rosa:m..mom...d..dad”

Cece and ego went over to rosa and patted her head as she blinked back her tears,ego sighed of relief while emerald and lily held the bed sheets tight smiling she looked at emerald then smiled

Rosa:im glad your safe..”

Emerald ears lowered and she gripped her hand smiling back at her sister

Emerald:what about you though*sniff*..”

Lily looked at rosa her eyes red and puffy

Lily:rosa..:

Even in this state rosa always tried to play it off

Rosa:dont worry im ok..”

They were smiling when the doctor came to the door and lightly knocked on it

Doc:”mr and mrs black may i see you for a minute” they both nodded and exited the room letting the kids chat for a bit,the doctor had an uncertain and not happy

Cece:what wrong doctor”

The doctor looked at the two then looked back at the hoglet in the room

Doctor:we were looking into her  x-rays to see if there were anything else broken as we were examining it…”the doctor looked at them”there seems to be something growing inside of your daughter

Ego and cece went pale at hearing this news and he held cece’s hand thinking

Ego:well can’t you remove it somehow”

The doctor shook his head sadly

Doctor:we’ve tried to but it seems to be latched onto her we’ve never seen something like this before”he looked at the x-ray then showed the couple as cece took the x-ray there before them was like a mist shadow dark spot around rosa’s cheek down to her heart,ego kepted looking at it and nearly tore it to shreds when cece took it away before he could

Cece:what do you think we should do”

The doctor looked at the hoglet resting on the bed with her sisters

Doc:for now you must wait she may experience chest pain so  if it gets out of hand give her this medicine each day before she leaves”

The doctor gave them a two sets of pills with a note attached to it

Doc:make sure she takes it the chest relive 5 times a day and the face cream for each night”

Cece clenched the bottle in her hand and looked at her daughter as did ego and both with sad expressions knowing that there daughter will never be the same again

*at the meadow*

Emerald was flying in the air over her sister”bet you can’t catch me rosa!”’she smirked”wanna bet!”she started chasing her sister sprouting her wings out to get a leap into the air

”Ahhhahaha!”

emerald flew away from her sister as she tried to tag her but she missed a few times


”Ha missed”rosa chuckled then disappeared surprising her sister

”rosa where’d you go?”

Emerald looked around searching for her sister then felt a tap on her shoulder”EEP!”she turned around to see her sister smiling at her”gotcha”she sighed of relief then pouted,swishing her tail side to side angrily”hey you cheated!”rosa landed back on the ground and made her wings disappear  “you never said i couldn’t use my powers”they both then laughed

little did they know that a figure was watching them from afar watching waiting for the right moment

Emeralds pov

I flew down to the ground folding my wings behind my back”still you should already know that’s not how it works”rosa shrugged and sat under the tree”are you just gonna sit there”my sister nodded and started to sing slightly”well im going to go collect flowers for mom”rosa nodded and told me not to wonder to far off so she can still see me,i nodded”alright i got it”i start to walk off and pick up flowers of different colors”hmm maybe i should get some for lily too”sometimes i usually envious of my sister. She’s brave and not afraid to do guy stuff well some guy stuff i laugh suddenly i hear my name being called”emerald its time to head back”i turn around to see my sister standing up waiting for me as i smile”ok!” i start to walk back to her then suddenly i felt an evil presence behind me like death itself,as i slowly turn around i see a tall looking hedgehog i think about in his mid 20s looking down at me and i froze as he spoke”hello little one~”

Narrator

Rosa was wondering what was taking her sister so long as she saw her turn around frozen stiff”emerald”she didn’t respond rosa started walking towards her”hey emera--”she stopped as she saw what she was looking at,her senses were going off saying this man was bad no worse then bad he was….murderous. Rosas eyes widened as she ran towards her sister in a hurry”EMERALD GET AWAY FROM HIM!!”emerald got out of her frozen state and looked back at her sister shouting when the mysterious hedgehog “tch” then picked her up and threw her over his shoulder”AHHHHH!!”emerald screamed hitting the hedgehog on his back as he touched his ear piece”i have got the tar--”the hedgehog flinched as he felt something hit his side,it was rosas mini hammerscythe as she glared at him”let my sister go!”the hedgehog didn’t say anything grabbing the hammer and tossing it to the side”was that supposed to hurt me”rosa smirked and balled up her fist”no but this is!”she leaned her leg back as far as she could and kicked him in his balls hard.he didn’t make a sound but he did drop the lionbat falling to his knees groaning in pain

Rosa pov

I watched as the hedgehog fell to his knees, i quickly grabbed emerald by the hand and said”run!”i pulled my sisters hand as were running i can hear the hedgehog say”you little BITCH”it send a shiver down my spine and i can tell he was chasing us cause i can hear the sound of feet against the grass behind us i opened my hand and focused hard trying to focus on the wind*
Please help us!*the wind blew hard sending the mysterious hedgehog back a bit getting tangled in his cloak as he struggled to fix it. I pulled my sister behind the tree and we were breathing hard i looked at emerald and she was terrified, i didnt know what to do but the only thing that came to my mind was to protect my little sister”emerald i need you to listen to me”emerald didn’t look up but i can tell she was listening when she nodded slightly”i want you to run back home as fast as you can and get mom and dad you hear me”she looked at me all of a sudden”what about you?!”i tapped her head when i heard feet moving closer in the distance, i whispered”ill distract him so you can run”emerald started to hesitate”b..but” i spoke again quickly” if we both tried to run he will surely catch up and no time and take you ”i can tell she didn’t like the idea at all the look on her face said everything”i can’t just leave you here i ca!”i gripped my sisters shoulders and kissed her forehead”ill be fine my top priority is to protect you as my little sister you hear me”she started to cry but i knew she understood what i was saying”ok on the count to three ill tell you to run ok”our hearts were beating fast but we were ready. I take a peek at the hedgehog as he looked around trying to find us i looked back at her”ok are you ready”she shook her head but took a deep breath and nodded”y..yea im r..ready”i turned my head back around made a sound in the distance using the wind to help me, the hedgehog turned his head and looked at the other direction looking for the noise, i started to count down”1...2…….3 run!”emerald started to run unfolding her wings and flew, that was when the mysterious hedgehog turned around seeing her run”there you are”he threw a knife at my sister and i quickly blocked it with my hammer as she looked back”keep going emerald!”i looked back at the hedgehog who was standing a few feet away from me”your in my way i’m not gonna fit a bratty kid”i growled at his comment “bratty”i knew i won’t win but...as long as my sister is safe i don’t care! i gripped my hammer and made the scythe part come out at the bottom of it and appeared in front of the hedgehog slamming it down at his feet as he dodged”don’t underestimate this bratty kid”

Emeralds pov

Hearing my sister yell i obeyed, I flew home as fast as i could it takes a while to get from the meadow to the house*please be safe rosa*those were the only words that were repeating in my head right now,my wings were starting to give out”not now!”i fell to the ground with a tumble and got up slowly dusting myself. I look up to see our house and lily sitting outside”Lily!!”lily looked at me with a smile then stopped smiling with a worried expression seeing my face”whats wrong?”i run to her and grab her”wheres mom and dad?!”she pointed in the house scared”wh..whats going on?” i didn’t answer her and ran inside

Narrator

Emerald ran inside looking around frantically for her parents”mom dad?!”her ear twitched as she heard footsteps coming down the stairs seeing her parents ego and cece, ego  was the first to speak”emerald what’s wrong”emerald was having trouble talking”Me a  and rosa were p pla playing at the meadow then this hedgehog appeared o out of nowhere and and”cece stopped her right there”do you know what he looks like wait”she then realized that rosa wasn’t with her”where is your sister”emerald started to tear up even more” i  i don’t know he had a cloak over his face”ego eyes widened as did cece’s”she’s still at the meadow  im sorry she told me to run and”ego got up and ran out the door,cece patted her head”stay here with your sister”and bolted after him towards the meadow.emerald went next to lily and hugged her”whats going on?”emerald kepted looked at her sister and hugged her not saying a word*please please*

*At the meadow*

The hedgehog kicked rosa in her stomach sending her flying into the tree and gasped for air that left her lungs she layed against it on the ground coughing up blood her knees scratched up and bruises on her arms while her dress torn barely,the hedgehog stood over her like a tower to an ant”are you done”he was annoyed and pissed off,rosa started to get up slowly holding her stomach”i  in your dreams”she breathed hard holding her hammerscythe in her hand her wounds started to heal slowly”hmph let’s wrap this up”the hedgehog picked her up by her neck and started to squeeze,rosa gasped for air clawing at his hangs trying to loosen his grip his nails digging in her skin ”AAHHH!!!”rosa screamed squirming in the hedgehogs grip trying to breath for air her eyes starting to roll back, that’s when the hedgehog noticed the four dots on her left cheek”ahh so you have the four marks”realising the hoglet as she fell to the ground coughing loudly”this is interesting~” he pulled out a blade out of his cloak that had words that couldn’t be written in this timeline and had four dots with,the blade a different color”since you made me miss my target you have to get punished”he smiled lifting his hood a bit as he approached the now frightened hoglet backing against the tree staring into the eyes of an abyss of darkness no of a MURDEROUS MONSTER

Cece pov

I rush after my husband as soon as he went out the door we were almost*dam it why didn’t she run!* i was pissed and also worried for her”Ego do you se--”both of our ears twitched as we heard loud screaming in the distance, we rushed to see the hedgehog that emerald was talking about ego stopped as his face stared in horror at what he saw”ego?” then my face turned pale as i tears poured down my face

Narrator

there lying by the tree was rosa with the right side of her cheek from up to her lower eye and down her cheek was gone”ROSA!!”the hedgehog turned with blood all over his hands and cheek smiling at cece ,she froze“seon…” he stood up and cece growled pissed with fury “it’s nice to see you too cece” he spoke then looked at ego who was glaring at him gripping his hands in fist”you too ego” seon picked up the hoglet”it sure was a waste i got to admit she was fun to play with”he tossed her towards them and cece caught her just in time”hang on baby hang on”she started to heal her but it was gonna take time ego on the other hand was now bolting with rage seon spoke”well it was nice but i ha--”he didn’t even finish when he felt a fist meet his face and sent him flying back in the tree breaking it in half,ego was lighting up black and brown wisp aura seeped out of him and his eyes glowed black as night just like seon eyes”aww fuck”he got up and rubbed his face while smirking at ego”ahh thats the ego i know”ego only said three words”ill kill you”he ran at seon and there they fought like two lighting flashes going back and forth,seon flew back getting ready for another hit until his ear piece went off*Seon101 get back to base now!* seon tch and stood up looking at ego who was about to finish him off”until next time”he pulled out a button and he disappeared making ego growled “Ego”his wife called out to him and he snapped out of it and ran back to them kneeling down”how is she? is she alright?”cece slowly nodded but was tearing up”my baby”ego frowned seeing his daughter like this then he felt her aura starting to go thin”we need to get her to the hospital now”cece nodded standing up but staggered a bit,ego quickly grabbing her”its ok i got you”he picked her up and headed towards the house so he could pick up the girls in the car

It was a sunny day in mobious,everyone was laughing and having a great time with there friends but all good things come to an end lets start from the beginning to where it all started,now this is a story about three  little girls who’s life changed for good.

Narrairator

Inside a small house lived a family,the blacks family and as usual every morning Ego the lionbat will always be the first one up before anyone else or so it seems underneath the table was a little hoglet her black and dark pink quills pressed back, in her unicorn pjs and grinning as she hid from her dad.

???:whispears*hehe im gonna get you this time dad* she moved a little to get a better view of her dad

Ego walked into the kitchen getting ready to make breakfast when his ears twitched as he heard a creak in the floor and smiled as he knew his daughter was hiding.

Ego:well then what should we have today

He went in the cabinet and took out some pancake mix then walked over to the stove,placing the pan on the stove as the fire light up sizzling against it.Ego stepped back and walked towards the door to grab something else but he opened the door and closed it still in the kitchen and flapped his wings quietly so that his little one would pretend he left.

The little hoglet peeked from underneath the table confuesed and crawled from underneath it wondering where her father went.

???:where’d he goAaaaa!

Suddenly she felt hands wrap around her and felt herself get lifted into the air and pulled into a hug.She squeaked then turned around laughing as she saw her dad.

Ego:Rosa what are you doing up so early this has been going on for a while now.

Rosa laughed”i was going to do a sneak attack on you did i do good did i?!”her eyes gleamed as she stared at her dad

Ego chuckled and booped her nose”you did good but next time you have to watch where you step”he placed his daughter back down on the ground”now go wake you sisters up and tell them to come downstairs”

Rosa nodded and headed upstairs her father watching her go and sighed”that girl is something else”then he sniffed the air and smelled something burn and turned around”OH SHIT!”he rushed over to the boiling pan and put it out with a sweatdrop”oh boy cece is going to be pissed”

Rosas point of view

I rushed upstairs and opened the door to my sisters room,Emerald and lily they had to share since they were the youngest.Rosa walked inside and shook her sisters gently

Rosa:”guys come on its time to get up”

they stirred in there sleep”5 more minutes”they said in usion. I rolled my eyes and backed up holding up my hands as light blue air surged out of them and wrapped around my sisters getting them out of bed and onto the floor but they were still asleep well lily was emearld got up with her hair all over the place and glared at her older sister

Emerald:why would you do that i was having an awesome dream about my prince!”

Rosah brother dad said its time to get up and head down stairs”

One down and one to go i looked at my sister lily as she sleeped souddlessly on the floor i thought of something then snapped my fingers and started walking out the door

Rosa:well since lily is still sleep i guess ill just tell DANNY that he can go home”

Lily woke up so fast before you can even say tuna fish”danny’s here!”she said in exicitment I looked at emerald and we both started laughing as lily looked confused then looked dumbfounded and pouted

Lily:”he’s not here is he”

We both shook our heads still laughing. Lily blushed and threw pillows at rosa and emerald”you jerks!”

I caught the pillow and looked at her”how else was i going to wake you up haha!”i placed the pillow down”anyway dad said come downstairs hes making breakfeast”

Narrator

The girls got dressed and went downstairs to eat but heard noises all of a sudden in the kitchen“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU BURNED IT!!”the girls looked at each other and only said one word as they sweatdropped”mom”they took a seat at the table and waited for the auguring to be done then it fell silent.Cece walked out with a smile and a bit flushed”good morning girls~” they waved “hey mom”they almost laughed as they saw their dad come out with a bump on his head that was showing when he seat out the plates.they took a seat and started eating,chatting, telling jokes just like any other day they had but then lily noticed dad looking out the window”hey dad are you ok?”the table went silent as they looked at him.Ego looked at them and nodded quickly”uh yea sorry what were you saying sweetheart”he smiled

Lilys pov

I knew something wasn’t right with dad even rosa knew too but we just ignored “we were wondering if it was ok if we can play outside today?”ego was about to say yes until cece stepped in”they can but you have to stay here your grounded remember”i groaned *dang i forgot* about a week ago I put flower inside of the toilet and ended up getting it stopped up for three days i looked at my mom”how was i supposed to know the toilet was to stop working” the whole table laughed except for for cece”you heard what i said”i nodded “ok can i at least stand outside on the porch” i looked at my mom as she thought about it and nodded”thanks mom!” i finished my breakfast and went into the kitchen putting it away as did rosa and emerald.

Narrator

Rosa and emerald put on there shows and headed for the door “were gonna be at the meadow mom” emerald yelled and they were off making sure they heard there mom say”make sure to come back before it gets dark!”she leaned in the doorway smiling at the two then feeling her husband’s hands wrapped around her waist,kissing her cheek”you’re not mad are you”he looked at her and she smiled”i can’t stay mad at you”cece then got serious as she looked off into the distance”what were you looking at earlier”ego looked ahead and hugged her tight”nothing i thought i saw something thats all but..i do have a feeling though”cece looked at him”what kind”ego didnt look back at her and sighed”a bad one”cece frowned “hey don’t be sad it’s probably was just me”he kissed her and she kissed back giggling

In the distance stood a shadow with a cloak hanging over his head hidden in the the bushes with a straight face then the ear piece in his ear”you know what to do get the target”the mystery hedgehog smirked as he looked back at the lionbat his voice low and grimce”we’ll be meeting real soon ego” he turned around and headed towards the meadow
